At Craft Home, we have organized numerous activities and events across various states of Sudan, targeting different segmen

Everything Artisans Need
Craft Home delivers creative and educational programs to build artisans’ skills across Sudants of society, including women, men, and children. These activities and events include

All programs are implemented internally by the Craft Home team to ensure consistent quality and tangible impact across all locations. We also organize training activities for women, enhancing their practical and entrepreneurial skills while empowering them socially and economically.

Strategic Partnerships & Training Programs

Craft Home partnered with 249Startups to establish a comprehensive production center in Gedaref, aimed at enhancing training in handicrafts, production, and entrepreneurship. Additional training sessions were provided for local organizations such as KAVA and the Sudan Waste Reduction Organization, supporting women in developing sustainable craft businesses

IRC-Funded Program

 

Targeting displaced and local women, this program equipped participants with skills in henna art, painting, crochet, sewing, embroidery, as well as marketing, sales, and product pricing.

“Bitentagy” Program

In partnership with Bedrady Foundation and Bank of Khartoum, this initiative provides specialized consultations and supplies necessary tools and materials to artisans to enhance their projects and boost production.

Artistan work

Business Incubator Program – Funded by Al-Ghaith/European Union

Empowered 31 women across various crafts, transforming their projects into small businesses. The program included entrepreneurship training, mentoring, provision of materials and tools, shared workspaces, and the development of a visual identity and logo for each project.

“Empowering Creative Hands” – Kassala

 

Supported 20 women by providing training in entrepreneurship, marketing, social media, and financial planning, alongside practical workshops in accessory making, knitting, and soap production
