  • A business incubator program supported by the Ghaith Fund/European Union, which empowered 31 women in various handicrafts and transformed their projects into small businesses. This included entrepreneurship training, consulting, provision of materials and tools, shared workspaces, and a visual identity and logo for each project.
  • Programs such as “Bitentji” in collaboration with the Bitqderi Foundation and Bank of Khartoum, providing consulting and support with necessary materials and tools for artisans.
  • The “Empowering Creative Hands” program in Kassala, supporting 20 beneficiaries with training in entrepreneurship, marketing, social media, and financial planning, in addition to practical courses in accessory making, crochet, and soap making.
  • Strategic partnerships with 249Startups to establish a fully equipped production center in Al Qadarif to promote handicraft training, production, and entrepreneurship. • Conducting training for local organizations such as KAVA and Sudan Zero Waste Organization to support women in developing their craft projects.

Craft Home is more than a craft platform; it’s a scalable startup transforming artisanal skills into sustainable business opportunities with measurable social impact and investment potential.

Craft Fundamentals Training

At Craft Home, we believe that every great creation begins with a solid foundation. Our core training programs are designed to equip participants with the craft skills that ignite creativity and open up avenues for self-expression and learning.

What do we offer?

Craft skills development: Practical courses in a wide range of crafts, including henna art, painting, crocheting, sewing, and embroidery, implemented in partnership with international organizations such as the International Rescue Committee (IRC).

Creative educational integration (for children’s and youth programs): We use crafts as an innovative educational tool, integrating arts and crafts with core subjects such as Arabic, English, and mathematics. This approach aims to foster imagination, develop critical thinking, and solve problems.

Psychosocial support: We provide safe and supportive spaces for learning and expression. Psychosocial and behavioral support is offered through art activities to boost self-confidence, reduce stress, and encourage self-expression.

We provide comprehensive solutions in the fields of handicrafts, arts, and small industries, including
the provision of raw materials, production tools, and necessary technical support for artisans.
Additionally, we offer training in entrepreneurship and technical skills, and guide entrepreneurs to
various funding platforms to help them start and develop their businesses.
